NATURE TRAILS
The Norma Gordon Nature Loop is a trail that begins near the entertainment pavilion and parallels Coahulla Creek before ending back at Prater’s Mill. Built by students of nearby North Whitfield Middle School, the trail bears the name of science teacher Dr. Norma Gordon. The trail offers an easy .7 mile hike through a mature hardwood forest with abundant wildlife.  NEW!  Two new wildlife viewing platforms have been added to the trail!  One allows visitors to get “on the water” for a look in the creek, and the other elevates hikers to a new height for better viewing.
