We boast the best Southern food this side of Heaven. Many foods like nachos, tacos, pizza, etc. are not appropriate. Some food booths are located under building or sheds. These spaces are approximately 10′ x 20′. No tables or other supplies are furnished or available. We do not allow modern food trucks or trailers in the exhibit area.
Most, but not all, of our food booths are run by local civic organizations. We do not duplicate food items. Breakfast, Brewed Tea, Regular Coffee, Lemonade and Limeade can be prepared by any exhibitor.
Listed below are foods we already have at the fair.
Prater’s Mill serves Coke® Products. You can select from Coke®, Diet Coke®, Sprite®, Dr. Pepper®, Dasani® water and Powerade® (Fruit Punch, Berry Blast, Lemon-Lime & Grape). Prater’s Mill will provide credit for the duration of the fair but all Coke®Product MUST be ordered and purchased through Prater’s Mill in order for us to receive the pricing discount. No product may be brought in from another source. Doing so will jeopardize your exhibitor status. Your Coke® product order is to be picked up from the Coke® trailer behind the food shed on Friday between 9:00 – 11:00 a.m. or 5:00 – 7:00 p.m.. All orders must be picked up during attended times. You are not required to pick up the entire order. You can restock Saturday evening between 5:00 – 6:00 p.m. You will need to have your own transportation to get the products from the Coke® trailer to your booth. You may return for credit any FULL MATCHED CASE (24 bottles of the exact same product) Sunday evening between 4:30-6:00 p.m. NO RETURNS after 6:00pm on Sunday. Empty crates must be returned to the trailer by 6:00 p.m.Sunday. a minimum $50 fine will be assessed to remove any coolers, crates or trash form your booth and will jeopardize your exhibitor status. Payment for all used product is due to Prater’s Mill Foundation no later than Sunday at 6:00pm. Make payment to Prater’s Mill Foundation. DO NOT make payment out to Coke. All Product is to be sold for $2.00 each.
You may also make and sell Brewed Tea, Lemonade, Limeade, Regular Coffee without restriction.
- You may not sublet your booth, in whole or in part.
- Application Fee is non-refundable and does not apply towards booth fee.
- Advise reading all information before submitting application.
- Food booth fee is $175 (single); no commission or jury fees.
- Food power is an additional $25. Amperage is limited and not guaranteed.
- Electricity is limited to 20 amps, and there is a $25 additional fee.
- Freestanding booths share 20 amps. You may need to coordinate usage with your neighbor.
- Quite generators are allowed.
- DO NOT send booth fee until you receive an RSVP Invitation & Registration form.
