The Country Fair has been a family destination in the Northwest Georgia area for decades. Begun by volunteers in 1971 to raise funds to restore the 1855 flour mill & surrounding buildings, Prater’s Mill Country Fair is an invitation-only festival. 

As a non-profit volunteer group, the foundation relies heavily on the revenue from the annual Country Fair, donations and revenue from reservations of the grounds.  The Country Fair is our primary fundraising event.  All donations and proceeds from the fair go back into site maintenance and day to day operations.
Since this is our primary fundraising event, all our entertainers volunteer their time and talents to perform during the fair.  
We do not pay for any entertainer to perform on site.  But we do provide significant exposure and an area by the stage where their music and merchandise may be sold.
If you are interested and willing to freely perform to help raise money for this remarkable cause, prospective entertainers may use the online form below to apply.  The fairs are always held the second full weekend in October.  Prospective entertainers may contact our  Entertainment Director, Cory Hansird, or submit an application using the forms below.
